Before change can occur, the body needs to feel safe. This section is an invitation to slow down, orient inward, and reconnect with what is already supporting you.

Gratitude is not about forcing positivity — it is about creating the internal conditions where coherence and healing can naturally unfold.

Gratitude is more than an emotional experience — it has measurable effects on the nervous system and the body. Research in neuroscience and psychophysiology shows that gratitude is associated with increased parasympathetic activity, improved heart–brain communication, and reduced stress responses.

When the body perceives safety, regulatory systems function more efficiently.
